Below are highlights of what’s coming up in West Oahu.

* BOX CAR TRACK The Kunia Box Car Track offers free youth programs from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 13 to July 27, for children age 9 and older next to the Kunia Park and Ride lot. Call 947-3393.

* LIBRARY CONCERTS Kapolei Library offers free music concerts at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Hawaii Opera Theatre singers present a lecture-demonstration June 20, and Ho’omalie Ukulele Trio featuring Kimo Hussey plays June 27. Call 693-7050.

* BAND CONCERT The Royal Hawaiian Band plays at noon June 20 at Kapolei Hale. Call 922-5331.

* SLIPPAH SHOW Prototype at Pearlridge Uptown hosts a display of artistic slipper creations from 6 to 9 p.m. June 22 through July 1. Call 222-9284.

* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 22 at Kapolei Bank of Hawaii; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24 at the Ewa Town Center Foodland; 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 29 in Ihilani Resort’s Malolo Room; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 30 in the Kapolei Police Station lobby; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7 at Pearlridge Uptown. * CHURCH FAIR New Hope Pearl Community Church sponsors an Ohana Fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 at 98-713 Kuahao Place in Pearl City, featuring crafts, baked goods and a rummage sale. Call 487-1500.

* HOME BUYING Honolulu Habitat for Humanity sponsors a Community Homebuyer Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 23 at Kapolei Hale, featuring one-hour workshops throughout the day. Call 538-7373.

* CRUZ NIGHT Ohana Cruz Nights presents its fifth annual Summer Auto Parts Swap Meet from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 at Leeward Community College. Call 423-1198.

* GUIDE DOGS Pearl City Library (1138 Waimano Home Road) hosts Greet a Guide Dog at 1 p.m. June 25. A handler will explain the function of guide dogs and will bring a dog for children 5 and up to pet. Call 453-6566.

* DAY CAMP The Salvation Army conducts its “Avalanche Ranch” day camp from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 25 to July 29 in its Aiea community center for children in grades K through 6. Fee is $450. Call 487-1636.

* PLAYTIME TOYS Waipahu Library (94-275 Mokuola St.) hosts “Playtime with Educational Toys” at 10:30 a.m. June 26 for keiki ages 3 and up. A consultant from Discover Toys will demonstrate the toys, followed by play time. Call 675-0358.

* NEIGHBORS The Pearl City Neighborhood Board meets at 6:30 p.m. June 26 in the Highlands Intermediate School cafeteria: the Aiea board meets at 7:30 p.m. July 9 at Aiea Library; the Ewa board meets at 7 p.m. July 12 at Ewa Beach Library. Call 527-5749.

* READING Kapolei Library (1020 Manawai St.) conducts an adult summer reading program with prize drawings for folks 19 and older through July 14. Call 693-7050.
