* FLAG FOOTBALL The PAL Flag Football program seeks players age 7 to 12 as well as volunteer coaches for the upcoming season, which begins Aug. 18 in West Oahu communities. Call Officer Al Balasbas at 847-0177.

* NEIGHBORS The Pearl City Neighborhood Board meets at 6:30 p.m. June 26 and July 24 in the Highlands Intermediate School cafeteria; the Makakilo-KapoleiHonokai Hale board meets at 7 p.m. June 27 in the Kapolei High School cafeteria; Waipahu meets at 7 p.m. June 28 at Hawaii’s Plantation Village; Aiea meets at 7:30 p.m. July 9 at Aiea Library; Ewa meets at 7 p.m. July 12 at Ewa Beach Library. * HEART HEALTH Kaiser Permanente presents a free Senior Summit lecture at 10 a.m. June 27 at its Waipio clinic on “Cardiovascular Disease: How It can Affect You and How to Prevent It.” The next session is “The Art of Energy” on July 25. Call 432-2235.

* BLOOD DRIVES The Hawaii Blood Bank conducts donor drives from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 29 in Ihilani Resort’s Malolo Room; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 30 in the Kapolei Police Station lobby; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 7 at Pearlridge Uptown; 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 15 at Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor; and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 22 at Waikele Center (by Leonard’s Malasadas). * SWAP MEET Waipio Center hosts a Community Swap Meet from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 30 in the parking lot across from Jack in the Box, offering more than 30 booths of items. Proceeds from the $20 booth fees go to area schools and nonprofits. Call 288-2590.

* RAINBOW PIGEONS Kapolei Library (1020 Manawai St.) hosts Rainbow Pigeons with Doug Beter. at 10:30 a.m. June 30.“Uncle Doug” will talk about his different breeds of pastel colored pigeons, which he will release into the sky at the end of the presentation. * CELTIC SHOW Pearl City Library (1138 Waimano Home Road) hosts a Celtic Keiki Celebration of Independence Day at 1 p.m. July 2. Siblings Caleigh, Delia and Tristan Fabro will dance and perform to traditional American songs like You’re a Grand Old Flag. For ages 3 and up. Call 453-6566.

* PEARL CITY BALLROOM The Pearl City chapter of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association holds registration on July 3 and 10 for classes in East Coast Swing, Peabody and Bolero at Manana Elementary School Cafeteria.
