* LANDFILL COMMENTS The public has until July 7 to comment on the proposed 15-year expansion of Waimanalo Gulch Landfill. Contact the city Department of Environmental Services on Uluohia Street in Kapolei.

* BON DANCES West Oahu’s bon dance season continues at 7:30 p.m. July 11-12 at the Waipahu Hongwanji (677-4221); 7:30 p.m. Aug. 8-9 at Pearl City Hongwanji (455-1680); and 7 p.m. Aug. 23 at Aiea Hongwanji (488-5685).
