Aiea, Kapolei, Pearl City To March In Band Classic

Three West Oahu bands are participating in the eighth annual Menehune Classic Marching Band Festival, set for 6 p.m. Saturday at Moanalua High School stadium.

Aiea, Kapolei and Pearl City high school bands will have time on the field to showcase their precision maneuvers, percussion, color guard and drum major skills, along with their music. In all, about 1,000 students from nine Oahu bands will perform.

Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students at the gate. For more information, call Wayne Miyashiro at 447-8522.
