Campbell High School has an Aloha Aina Earth Day recycling drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and it’s also accepting canned items for Hawaii Foodbank and “an unlimited number” of computers and printers.

Metal, HI-5 containers, cooking oil, cell phones, printer cartridges, phone books, plastic bags, CDs and DVDs, green waste, batteries and more are welcome. Goodwill and Lions Clubs will make use of donated clothing, household items, hearing aids and eyeglasses. Donors also may exchange old light bulbs for two CFLs per person.

For curbside pickup, call Rowena Martinez at 689-1213; for towing of unwanted cars, call Rene Mansho of Schnitzer Steel at 306-1876.

Ewa Beach Lions and the school’s Leo Club will run the one-stop drop-off site at the school, located at 91-980 North Road. Proceeds benefit the high school. Politicians and businesses also are involved. Pearl City High has a drive Sept. 18.
