Disney Vacation Club recently began sales for Aulani, Disney’s first family resort in Hawaii, located on 21 acres of oceanfront land within the Ko Olina Resort & Marina development.
The first phase, which includes 481 two-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villas, is scheduled to open in fall 2011. Upon its completion, the resort also will include 360 traditional hotel rooms, an 18,000-square-foot spa, two restaurants, a wedding lawn, a kids club, conference center and pool area.
Inspired by the Hawaiian culture, Aulani’s architecture is a modern interpretation of ancient villages. Hawaiian materials such as volcanic stone columns, torch lights and geometric prints from kapa will be incorporated in the design throughout the property.
Aulani will be the 11th resort for Disney Vacation Club, which is designed to accommodate families by offering a variety of vacation destinations. For more information, visit disneyvacationclub.com or call 1-800-500-3990.
