Enroll Tots For Grade K By Feb. 17

The deadline is Feb. 17 for parents to register their children for kindergarten and junior kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year.

Parents are encouraged to enroll their child at their neighborhood school during normal school hours. (To find out which school their child should attend, Leeward District parents should call 692-8000.)

Kindergarten enrollment is open to children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2010. Children who will be 5 between Aug. 2 and Dec. 31 may enroll in junior kindergarten.

The following items are needed for enrollment: proof of residential address, child’s birth certificate and health/immunization records.
