Entry Open For Benefit Golf Tourney

Golfers can tee off April 27 in support of the nonprofit Waipahu Aloha Club and its mission to help Hawaii’s adults with mental illnesses at its second annual Benefit Golf Challenge.

The tournament will be played in a three-person modified scramble at Waikele Golf Club and is open to both individual players and three-person teams. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and an awards banquet to follow.


Fee is $125 per player and includes green fees, a cart, lunch and awards banquet. To register, visit http://www.waipahualohaclub.org or call 590-0318. To donate prizes or to volunteer, call Kim Golis at 219-8294.

Since 1997, Waipahu Aloha Club has assisted more than 525 participants with mental illnesses reclaim their lives by providing employment, housing, social and educational opportunities.
