Hawaii Foodbank is accepting applications for its Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program at several Oahu locations, including from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1 at Waipahu United Church of Christ, 94-330 Mokuola St.

The food bank has voucher booklets worth $50 for qualified low-income residents age 60 and older. They are redeemable at various farmers’ markets between now and Oct. 31. The goal is to make sure seniors are eating fresh, local fruits and vegetables.

Annual income must be no more than $18,690 per individual or $25,140 for couples. Please bring proof of income and verifiable ID such as driver’s license, state ID card, senior ID and copy of birth certificate.

To download an application, go to www.hawaiifoodbank.org or call 954-7889.
