The Board of Water Supply and the Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden are offering folks two opportunities to get into the holiday spirit with wreath-making workshops from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at the garden (99-1268 Iwaena St.).
Participants will create wreaths by using unthirsty plants and should bring with them items such as wreath backing (preferably straw-type, not foam), floral “U” pins, floral wired picks, clippers, containers to hold wreath materials and any type of ribbons or holiday embellishments.
The workshops are free for Friends members and $5 for non-members.
Registration closes at 2 p.m. the Friday prior to the workshop or when all spaces are filled.
