Folks eager to visit unthirsty plants in the attractive setting of Halawa Xeriscape Garden should mark their calendars for Nov. 6, because that’s when the garden will reopen to the public.

The garden closed earlier this month and will remain closed through October as the Board of Water Supply employees who staff the garden are unavailable during visiting hours for the time being.

The usual free, self-guided tours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday will resume in November. Call 748-5041 or visit BoardOfWaterSupply.com for more information.
