Hot Rods For A Cause, a group formed to help prevent domestic violence, is revved up for its annual car show benefit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Kalaeloa Airport (between Hangars 110 and 111).

The event doubles as an informational fun fair with booths promoting domestic violence education and awareness alongside live music, rides, swap meet vendors, food and, of course, a custom car and bike show.

Donations will go to the Domestic Violence Action Center to help raise awareness about the problem. For more information, call Domen at 696-0033 or the office of state Rep. Karen Awana at 586-8465.

Hot Rods For A Cause was founded by car and motorcycle club members, many of whom have had family members killed or injured in domestic violence incidents.
