Following a successful inaugural tee off, Cecilio and Kapono return with their second annual C&K Back In The Day Golf Classic Aug. 31 at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach.

The contemporary Hawaiian music duo invites everyone to join them and some of Hawaii’s biggest celebrities as they raise money for Keiki O Ka Aina Family Learning Centers, while having a good-fun day on the greens.

Tournament format is a four-man team scramble with an automatic two-putt rule. Cost per golfer is $200 (individual) and $165 (team). All golfers will receive an Eco goodie bag, a C&K Golf Classic signature shirt, an autographed copy of C&K’s album Elua, and a preferred ticket to the C&K Back In The Day Good Times Together Concert Sept. 3 and 4 at Hilton Hawaiian Village. To register, call 351-2007.

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m., offering a variety of contests, games and photo ops with C&K, followed by an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The tourney culminates with the 19th Hole Kanikapila with C&K awards banquet that will feature an acoustic jam session with C&K and friends.

Net proceeds from the tournament will benefit Keiki O Ka Aina Family Learning Centers, a nonprofit whose mission is to build strong communities by building strong families. In 2009, Cecilio and Kapono donated $15,000 to the organization.
