The Kapolei City Lions Club will have its second annual Fundraiser Benefit Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Oct. 17 in the Kapolei High School cafeteria.

A $6 ticket gets you a spread of scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, blueberry muffin, rice and fruit. There is a choice of coffee or juice for those dining in, and take-out service also is available. For tickets, call Lions Paul Berardo (342-2045), Marcie Cabico (693-8738) or Ampy Cabico (391-8080).

Walk-in orders and donations also are accepted. Make checks payable to Kapolei City Lions Club and mail to 91-1046 Makahaiaku St., Kapolei, HI 96707, marked Attn: Lion Paul Berardo.

Money raised from the breakfast will go toward the Lions many community service projects, including vision screenings at West Oahu schools and blood donation drives. This year the club hopes to expand services to include scholarships for Kapolei High students.

The Lions meet at 6:30 p.m. every second and fourth Thursday of the month at the American Renaissance Academy. Call Berardo for more information.
