The Battleship Missouri Memorial marks the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II this summer with extended visiting hours through the beginning September.

The memorial is now open 90 minutes earlier to accommodate increased visitor demand through Labor Day, welcoming visitors from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor will match the Missouri’s new hours, and shuttle buses will provide continuous transportation from the visitors center to the memorial, museum and USS Oklahoma.

Should visitor demand remain high, the memorial will consider making the extended hours permanent. For more visitor information or to reserve a tour, call toll-free at 1-877-MIGHTYMO (1-877-644-4896).

Also planned is a Commemoration Week of activities Aug. 27-Sept. 4, culminating in a free public ceremony Sept. 2 in the presence of the USS Arizona Memorial and “Mighty Mo” herself.
