Father Paul Klitzke, St. Nicholas Episcopal Church’s resident biker vicar, invites local motorcycle enthusiasts to a Blessing of the Bikes this Sunday at Island Pacific Academy, 909 Haumea St. in Kapolei.

Riders will gather at 11 a.m. in the parking lot to check out each other’s rides - Klitzke is bringing out his cherry red Kawasaki Volcan 900 - and talk story about island routes. After the blessing, lunch will be served and then bikers will ride together up to Haleiwa, from which point they can choose to continue on a journey around the whole island or circle back home.

For details, call Klitzke at 673-8069.

St. Nicholas holds weekly Sunday services at 8:30 and 10 a.m. at IPA. The first Sunday of each month is Ice Cream Sunday, with a large selection of ice cream and toppings served free to all ages after the second morning service. Visit stnickschurch.org or call 753-7788 for more information.
