The Age Of Aquarius Dawns On MVT Stage

Kevin DeBell of Aiea, Jaq Ryan Galliano of Ewa Beach, Nicole Sandry of Kapolei and Jonah Ho’okano of Pearl City star in Manoa Valley Theatre’s take on the Tony Award-winning tribal rock musical Hair, on stage March 4-21.

Galliano plays Berger, the hippie leader and personification of the hippies’ ideal. DeBell, Sandry and Ho’okano make up the ensemble Tribe with a cast of other local talent. Rob Duval guest directs, with Kenji Higashihama as guest music director and Kat Jones as guest choreographer.


 

Show times are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 4 p.m. Sundays.

A special “Twitter Night” sponsored by Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner is slated for 8 p.m. March 20, when MVT invites guests to bring their mobile digital devices and tweet, post, blog and upload during the show.


Tickets cost $35 general admission. Seniors and military pay $30, and patrons age 25 and younger pay $20. Call 988-6131 or go to manoavalleytheatre.com.
