Comedy improv troupe On the Spot is set to bring weekly laughs to the West side with “Friday Night Comedy in Aiea,” a series of comedy shows held every Friday beginning this week through Feb. 12 at Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy (99-153 Moanalua Road, Room D in Aiea Village Square).

This month Aiea residents and comedians Jose Ver and Jordan Savusa will showcase their humor and talent along with other comics from On the Spot and Sucker Punch.

“On the Spot started in Aiea, and we practice in Aiea,” said On the Spot member Garrick Paikai. “Every week people can come and meet new artists and see us perform.”

Other troupe members are Alissa Joy Lee and Rod Cachola of Aiea and Art Koshi from Honolulu.

“Expect to have a good time. All ages are welcome.”

Doors open at 7 p.m. and shows start at 7:30. Admission is $5. For more information, call 224-7585.
