Kelly Kauinana

Aiea resident Judahh Parker has been invited to play on the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour football team and to participate in the annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 8 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Parker is a senior at Saint Louis School, where he’s a defensive end on the Crusader football team and also is sings in the school’s choral group.

Oregon State University has announced the names of students who made the school’s scholastic honor roll for the 2010 fall term.Among those earning a GPA of 3.5 or better are Christiann G. Kalinowski of Aiea, Tyy J. Kobashigawa of Pearl City and Krichellee A. Kato of Waipahu.

Fellow Beavers Corinnee A. Chun (Aiea), Jennaa T. Caparoso (Kapolei) and Daviss Y. Hayashi (Pearl City) earned a 4.0 GPA for the term.


Campbell High alumnus, Army Reserve Pfc. Franciss D. Dumlao, is returning to the U.S. after being deployed to Afghanistan and Southwest Asia as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Dumlao is a multichannel transmission systems operator-maintainer with the 392nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, which is assigned to Fort Pickett, Blackston,Va. The soldier will report to Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, N.J., for debriefing, evaluation and out-processing before returning to his own unit.

His mother, Imelda Dumlao, lives in Ewa Beach and his father, Carmelo Dumlao, lives in Sacramento, Calif.

Gregg Murphy

Kellyy Kauinana has joined Pearlridge Center as marketing director. In this position, the retail veteran will direct advertising, sponsorships, public relations and social marketing campaigns for the Aiea shopping center. She also will serve as marketing liaison to some 200 Pearlridge merchants, will develop tenant advertising programs, and will oversee all visual décor, signage, special events and other promotions.

Kauinana most recently served as marketing manager for Kahala Mall and has previously worked as a senior account executive with Sharon Serene Creative.

The Honolulu resident received her bachelor of science degree in communications from UH-Manoa. She serves on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries of Hawaii and the Retail Merchants of Hawaii.

Waikele resident Gregg Murphy has been promoted to sales manager of RevoluSun, Hawaii’s leading provider of commercial and residential solar systems.

In his new role, Murphy will be tasked with hiring and training project developers, developing the company’s sales process, expanding RevoluSun’s solar service to Neighbor Islands, and leading the company’s free solar seminars.

Murphy joined RevoluSun in 2009 as a project developer, in which he showed strong leadership skills by overseeing the firm’s sales team and community education programs.


A native of Washington state, Murphy has 16 years of experience in the solar electric industry, having owned Solar Northwest from 1994-1998. He also developed and managed his own real estate firm on the Mainland.

Waipahu resident Suzette Cerezo has been recognized as a top sales representative by Avon Products Inc. Her prize included a trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with other top Avon reps.

The group gathered there June 23-27, staying at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and enjoyed shopping, a culture tour, spa treatments and the President’s Recognition Program Celebration, where top Avon executives personally congratulate the honorees.
