Young Artists’ Work On View Through 2011

A special art exhibit opened May 2 at Hawaii Convention Center featuring creations by Hawaii’s schoolchildren.

Paintings from students in grades K-6 are on view now through April 2011 from young artists statewide. The 2010 Student Art Exhibition, Celebrating Hawaii with My Family and Friends, is sponsored by the state Department of Education, State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and Hawaii Tourism Authority.

West Oahu artists on display are Shayna Casupang, Alohilani Cuarisma, Devin Kubota and Rachael Nacnac, all of Manana Elementary School.
