Community teams - 120 in all - came together Aug. 11 at Aiea Bowl in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The 21st annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser attracted more than 700 bowlers. The day turned out to be BBBS’s most successful bowl-a-thon yet, raising more than $130,000, topping their goal of $125,000 and far outdoing last year’s total of $76,000. “Bigs” and “Littles” also participated in the 9 a.m. to midnight tournament. Emcees included Justin Cruz of KHON and Malika Dudley of KGMB (Miss Hawaii 2006 and a current Big Sister).
