Family Fun Day At Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park dove right into summer by hosting a raging Family Fun Day June 22 at the Kapolei facility. Power 104.9 FM deejays KC and Taka helped kick off the festivities with the unveiling of the park’s newest and wildest ride, the Tornado. Those lucky enough to be among the first to splish and splash down the 130-foot funnel also got to enjoy the park’s other rides, food, games and plenty of prizes. A screening of The Spiderwick Chronicles on the large screen of the park’s second brand-new attraction, Dive’n'Movies, let people cool down on lounge chairs or in a raft floating around the wave pool. A portion of all proceeds raised during the day went to the YMCA of Honolulu.
