Four years later and the Pearl City Community Association and Pearl City Foundation’s annual Family Fun Day is going stronger than ever. What started as a way to get families to enjoy a good time at Momilani Community Center has grown into an early-fall highlight for many. “It’s designed to just get the families to come and enjoy, and it’s part of our community strengthening foundation,” said event chairman Breene Harimoto.

As families gathered to enjoy rides, games, a petting zoo, craft fair and rummage sale, the sweet sounds of the Royal Hawaiian Band could be heard wafting in the breeze. Grace Bible Church was also on hand to collect canned goods and gently used clothing for the less fortunate in the community.
