West Oahu is a popular place to stage an Ohana Cruz Night. In fact, you can find one nearly every Saturday night somewhere in the vast community of “big boy toy” lovers. The pride and care are evident from sparkling sheen on every model - from hot rods, to classic Chevys, Model T’s, Thunderbirds, Caddies, sports cars, convertibles. Neon blinks from the spotless engines, and owners take a well-deserved bow for their devotion to America’s four-wheeled monster. This crowd gathered for a Cruz Night on June 28 at the Kapolei Home Depot. Sponsored by Hawaii Independent Cruise Nights, fans can still look forward to Aug. 23 back at the same place, Sept. 6 at Pearl City Wal-Mart and again on Sept. 27 at Home Depot.
