Del.icio.usWaipahu’s Hans L’Orange Field was overtaken by baseball fans reveling in this year’s Sunset at the Ball Park celebration, “Catch the Dream Waipahu,” Sept. 29 and 30. The festivities served as the grand opening for Hawaii Winter Baseball’s 2007 season. Area restaurants and sports organizations headed up a variety of food booths, and the weekend’s featured entertainment included a concert by the Royal Hawaiian Band. Keiki had jumpers, a climbing wall and all kinds of fun rides to keep them busy.
