Key Games Featured At Hans L’Orange

Hawaii Winter Baseball League action returns to Hans L’Orange Field this weekend when the North Shore Honu and West Oahu CaneFires meet in a key four-game series.

West Oahu is 5-1 in games designated as road games this season and was 8-8 overall heading into last Friday’s action. North Shore held a 9-7 record heading into the weekend.

The teams will kick off the series at 6:30 p.m. Friday with another game scheduled for the same time on Saturday. On Sunday, the teams will play a double-header with Game One set to begin at 1 p.m.

Yasushi Iihara ranks first in home runs (3) and second in runs batted in (10) to lead the CaneFires.
