Castle High School will sponsor its first all-alumni dinner at 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Koolau Grand Ballroom, with proceeds going to improve its track and field.

The benefit honors distinguished alumni Henry Iida, Charles Toguchi, pro golfer Dean Wilson, Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay, Alice Hewett (Ben Parker High grad) and drama teacher Ron Bright.

State Sen. Jill Tokuda, Mike McCartney and Jennifer Abas are co-chairing the dinner.

“This will be a great opportunity to show current and future Castle High students what great role models they have of these successful and talented individuals who have also come out of Castle,” said Tokuda, who graduated from Castle in 1994. “It’s a night of distinction, and the real purpose here is to honor and highlight the outstanding work our alumni have done and the contributions they have made to the community.”

Included in the dinner program is entertainment, and Tokuda noted that each part of the evening will have a Castle connection.

Tickets cost $150 each or tables can be purchased for $1,500 to $3,500. Class tables are available for $1,000.
