A hula studio and a long-planned snack shop opened recently at Koolau Center, but neither is a stranger to Ahuimanu valley.
Kumu hula Kau’i Dalire of Kahaluu has settled into the center next to Times Coffee Shop, offering instruction to all ages through Halau Ka Lihilihilehua O Hopoe Kuikanani. For information on classes, call 627-2942.
Koolau Snack Shop opened in March next to Times Supermarket, selling a variety of Korean items as well as bubble drinks, Icee, shave ice, manapua, hot dogs, crack seed, peanuts and more. Proprietor is Brian Lee, formerly of the now-closed Lee’s BBQ at the other end of the shopping center.
