Koolau Magic Theatre Has Christmas Tricks

Koolau Magic Theatre will present a special Christmas Show at 7 p.m. Saturday with guest performer Aaron Vermeer joining The Great Davidio and Mr. O in their magic lair at Koolau Center next to Times Supermarket.

Tickets are available at the door, or buy them in advance (at a discount) at Temple Valley Dental Group next door. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for ages 11 and under. For details, call 239-6711.

Vermeer of Mystical Rabbit Productions works full time with Hawaii Air National Guard and is a past president of Hawaii Society of American Magicians. He has performed magic professionally since 1991 here and in 10 different countries,and has won awards among his Hawaii peers and in the U.S. Air Force regional talent competition.

The Great Davidio likes parlor tricks and comedy, when not appearing as dentist David Brown.Mr.O is Harvey Ouchi, a longtime DOE special ed teacher who thrives on stage magic and close-up illusions.
