Selected art work created by students from Ben Parker and Mokapu Elementary, and King Intermediate schools is on display this month at the State Capitol in the chamber level, courtesy of state Sen. Jill Tokuda (D-Kaneohe, Kailua).

“These art pieces reflect the wealth of creativity and talent that exists in our public schools,“said Tokuda, a Castle High graduate. “Working with dedicated teachers, our students are learning to express themselves and the way they view the world through their creations.”

The public is welcome from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m week-days and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Call 587-7215.
