Orchestra To Perform Tchaikovsky

The Oahu Civic Orchestra is bringing the music of Tchaikovsky to First Presbyterian Church at Koolau at 4 p.m. June 26 for a free concert.

Conducted by Ron Hirai, the 70-member orchestra will play selections from the famed Russian composer including his Symphony No. 5, Sleeping Beauty Suite and Polonaise from Eugene Onegin. Ben Gascon is guest conductor for Marche Slav, and Dayna Furusawa the cello soloist for Pezzo Capriccioso.
