Pohai Nani To Stage All-Star Circus Friday

As its holiday gift to the community, the talented hams of Pohai Nani will present an All-Star Circus at 7 p.m. Friday and Dec. 18 in the auditorium - no tents - at the Kaneohe highrise on Namoku Street.

The free event features “fun-filled, faux-serious"circus acts such as Mighty Max, the World’s Strongest Man; Serena, Queen of the Gypsies, and Bruno, her Dancing Bear; Rita Riata, Cowgirl Roper and Sharpshooter; Mysto the Magnificent, Circus Magician; Miss Liberty and Belle; the High Wire Walkers, clowns, acrobats, elephants, Santa Claus and even more.

Directed by Pohai Nani resident Yona Chock, known professionally as the Magic Storyteller, the circus experience is free. There is, however, a bonus performance by the calabash Monkey, if you make a donation.
