Castle Medical Center wants to help everyone quit smoking - either in a group setting or individually.

The next Breathe Free program begins July 12, with smokers meeting together from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays for eight weeks in a “total lifestyle approach” to quitting that helps manage stress and prevent weight gain.

The hospital’s Wellness Center also offers individualized stop-smoking coaching with a trained tobacco treatment specialist who knows how to address the person’s unique triggers with tailored coping skills and healthy lifestyle changes.

Free nicotine patches, gum and lozenges are offered in either program, and no one is turned away for inability to pay for the service.
