Windward art supporters have until the end of this month to view some of the best art work created by Kaelepulu and Enchanted Lake elementary school students at the state capitol.

Works by artists in grades 2-6 are on view on the chamber level, courtesy of the STAR (Senator Tokuda’s Art Review) program.

“Displaying the art of our Windward schools, not only shares their talents with the rest of the state, but brings many of our families to the capitol to experience the legislative process first hand,“said state Sen. Jill Tokuda, who initiated STAR in 2007.

The public is welcome from 6 a.m.to 6:30 p.m.week-days and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call 587-7215.
