Vintage Cars, Bikes Join Kailua HUGS ‘Funraiser’

HUGS will sponsor a Classic Triathlon Saturday in Kailua, without any runs, swims or bike races in sight.

The “funraiser” is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kailua Intermediate School, showcasing vintage cars, bicycles and surfboards.

Fees from vendors and display entries ($30 for cars, $10 for bikes and boards) will benefit Help, Understanding and Group Support, a local nonprofit that assists seriously ill children and their families.

The event also includes live entertainment, food, T-shirt sales, keiki activities and raffle drawings.
