Habilitat’s Eighth Annual Luau

You know they sell Christmas trees, do landscaping and masonry jobs. But Kaneohe’s nationally known private drug treatment center, Habilitat, also knows how to throw a luau. An estimated 2,000 guests enjoyed its eighth annual luau and silent auction May 17 under a tent on the Great Lawn at Windward Community College. The event defrays much of the facility’s costs and enables it to provide tuition help to needy addicts wanting to enter its adult rehabilitation program. Da Braddahs emceed headline entertainment, including Willie K.
