The Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division baseball season will heat up this week with a number of key games involving Windward schools.


On Wednesday defending OIA champion Kailua visits McKinley. The Surfriders took a 4-2 mark into the weekend. Elsewhere on Wednesday, Kahuku hosts Kalani, Kalaheo visits Farrington, and Castle plays host to Moanalua. All Wednesday games begin at 4 p.m.


On Saturday, Castle hosts Kailua, while Kalaheo is home versus Moanalua. Both games begin at 10 a.m. The OIA playoffs begin in the first week of May. The Wally Yonamine Foundation state baseball tournament is May 16-19 at Les Murakami Stadium on the University of Hawaii campus.
