Key Baseball Action Is On Wednesday

As the OIA East baseball race winds down, few games are bigger than the Kailua-Castle matchup at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Castle.

Kailua took a 6-0 record into the weekend, while Castle was 5-0-1, the only blemish a tie with Roosevelt. Six East teams had at least four wins before the weekend.

In other Wednesday action, Kalaheo hosts Kahuku at 4 p.m. at Kailua District Park. The Mustangs recorded their first win of the season last Wednesday with a 17-0 rout of Kaimuki.

Kailua hosts Kalani Friday, Castle visits Kaiser Saturday, and Kahuku hosts Kaimuki. All games begin at 1 p.m.
