Lady Red Raiders Leading The Pack In OIA Volleyball

The Kahuku girls volleyball team returns to action at 6 p.m. this Thursday when the Red Raiders host Kaiser. With their win over Moanalua last week, Kahuku assumed sole possession of first place in the Oahu Interscholastic Association East Red conference under first-year coach Uila Fotu Vendiola. The Red Raiders’ game with Kaiser also begins the second round of conference play.

Elsewhere in Windward prep volleyball action this week, Kailua hosts Roosevelt Thursday. In Division II, Kalaheo visits McKinley Wednesday and is home against Farrington Saturday, while Castle hosts Anuenue and Waipahu on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively. Saturday games begin at 11 a.m.
