The Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s volleyball team held onto the number nine spot in the most recent American Volleyball Coaches Association national rankings. The Seasiders, 9-0 for the season and 5-0 in the Pacific West Conference, heading into action late last week, received 12 more points in the poll than the previous week, but failed to move up as the top nine teams all won last week and remained unchanged in the poll.

The Seasiders are one of four undefeated NCAA II teams remaining in the nation after winning their two matches last week. BYU-Hawaii defeated Grand Canyon and Notre Dame de Namur last week in a pair of three-game sweeps. BYUH, which is in the midst of a six-game Mainland road trip, returns to action at the Cannon Activities Center Oct. 13 and 14 when they host Hawaii-Hilo on successive nights.
