Robin Takara has been named director of all non-perishable departments for Star Markets. He previously served as director of operations for Tamura Enterprises. His career path includes working as director of general merchandise and health and beauty care for Foodland Supermarkets.
Marion Noble has been named human resources manager for City Mill. She previously worked as human resources benefits analyst for the San Dieguito Union High School District in Encinitas, Calif.
Tiffany Amemiya has been named marketing representative for Xerox Hawaii. She will be responsible for covering sales and marketing territory in the Kakaako area, from downtown Honolulu to Ward Avenue.
Benjamin Ancheta Jr. benefits, account management, information technology and the human resources services departments.
Hazel Balmaceda has been promoted from advanced staff to senior accountant for Matsuno, Fukuya and Company.
Terri Johnson has been promoted from advanced staff to senior accountant for Matsuno, Fukuya and Company.
Jon Ushijima has been named manager of Asia sales for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He previously worked as the front office manager of The Royal Hawaiian. Ushijima has been with Starwood since 1997.
Dana C. Bergeman has been named Principal for Allana Buick and Bers. He continues to run the Hawaii division that includes offices in Honolulu and in Lahaina.
Ada Peroutka has been named an agent with Prudential Locations. Peroutka has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute and Internet Professional designations. She previously worked with Dower Realty and Fujisaki Realty.
Cheryl Yoshimura has joined Prudential Locations’ Pearlridge office as an agent. She specializes in assisting first-time home buyers. Her past employment includes working as a mortgage loan processor.
Lee Tokuhara has been promoted to vice president at Bennet Group Strategic Communications. She will be responsible for overseeing a variety of clients, especially those with community relations and public affairs/public policy needs. Tokuhara joined the Bennet Group in 2005 as an account director.
