Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Milton Lafitaga has been hired as product manager for Embassy Suites - Waikiki Beach Walk. Lafitaga was most recently the operations manager for Norwegian Cruise Line America.
Stan Berry has been named administrator for Shriners Hospitals for Children - Honolulu. He has 28 years of senior management experience in hospitals and other health care settings in Hawaii and on the Mainland.
Mark Yamada has been hired as controller and director of finance for Hawaiian Host Inc. His responsibilities include planning and reporting for the company. Yamada also will oversee all financial aspects of the company’s business and growth plans.
Lynelle Miyashiro has been appointed director of public relations for Shriners Hospitals for Children - Honolulu. Miyashiro has extensive marketing and public relations experience for profit and non-profit organizations on both Oahu and Maui.
Lois Asato has been elected president of the Honolulu chapter of Executive Women International (EWI). Asato currently serves as sales manager for the Hawaii Convention Center.
Jill Chiang has been named sales and distribution manager for Meadow Gold Dairies of Hawaii. She previously served as director of operations for Pacific Health Inc. Chiang has more than 20 years of professional sales experience.
James Bersson has been promoted to senior executive service-regional business director of Corps’ Pacific Ocean Division (POD). He previously served as the chief of engineering and construction for the Honolulu Engineer District.
Marc Ebalaroza has been hired as web designer for Team Vision, LLC. He brings more than 10 years of design and implementation experience with him and will be responsible for web creative and development services.
Mary Hakoda has been promoted to vice president of sales for Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii’s residential division. Hakoda will oversee the sales operation for Castle & Cooke on all islands. She was a former principal broker for Island of Lanai Properties.
Garrett Furukido has been named director of residential development for Castle & Cooke’s Homes Hawaii’s residential division. He will be responsible for special projects and project management on the islands of Oahu, Hawaii and Lanai.
Eve Colton has been appointed corporate membership and member events manager for the USS Missouri Memorial Association. Her responsibilities include coordinating the expansion of the corporate membership program and working with members on events held at the battleship Missouri Memorial and elsewhere.
