Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Keith Inouye has been promoted to chief operating officer and senior vice president for Hoike Technology, a leading software development company in Hawaii. Inouye has more than 25 years of experience in information technology management and systems development in various industries. He previously served as program office director for Hoike Technology.
Jim Walshhas been named vice president of Professional Relations and Provider Advocacy for HMSA. His responsibilities include working with physicians to address opportunities related to health care access and quality. Walsh was previously vice president of Provider Services.
Mireia Arbing has been appointed account manager for Abbott Communications. As account manager, she is now the Hawaii territory manager for Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and sales rep for the Oahu Visitors Bureau Planner.
Kevin Nakata has been named field services officer for the Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA). Nakata joined HGEA as a union agent in 1990. In his new position, he will oversee union agents that serve State and City & County employees in various bargaining units.
Carolee Kubo has been appointed field services officer for the Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA). Kubo has 18 years of experience with HGEA, and has held positions such as union agent and senior union agent. Prior to joining HGEA, she worked with the Department of Human Services.
Susan Sasaki Goya has been named executive secretary of the Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA) retirees unit. For the past two and a half years, she was a union agent for HGEA. Now Sasaki Goya will be responsible for overseeing and leading the retirees unit.
Dave Mark has been hired as marketing manager for Roberts Hawaii. Mark has worked within various divisions of the company, and will now be responsible for developing strategies and tactics related to brand/product and public relations promotions and management. As marketing manager, he also will create marketing programs for the company.
