Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Carol Davis has been named vice president, client consulting group for Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. Davis has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry and will continue to be responsible for new sales and servicing of commercial clients with a concentration on health-care, nonprofit organizations and schools.
Paul M.Saito has been appointed partner for Cades Schutte LLP. Saito represents and provides legal consultation exclusively to employers in labor and employment matters. He has extensive litigation, administrative and arbitration experience in employee/union relations, discrimination, hiring and other matters.
Kelly Burgett has been promoted to operations consultant for McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii. Burgett began his career with McDonald’s Restaurants more than 30 years ago as a crew person. He now will be responsible for leading, coaching and providing direction to the group of restaurants he oversees to improve operations and to maximize long-term sales growth and profit maximization.
Cris Takushi has been hired as senior civil engineer for Oceanit. Takushi most recently worked at Park Engineering, overseeing infrastructure projects. He brings with him more than 29 years of engineering experience, ranging from tool design at Boeing to quality control work at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
Shane Nesbitt has been hired as residential project consultant for Sunetric. In this position, Nesbitt will work with prospective clients to help them understand what solar options are available to them for their homes, as well as financing options. He also will work with customers to design the best layout for their new system that maximizes efficiency and minimizes cost.
Meredith Low has been named an executive search consultant for Inkinen & Associates. Low has an extensive background that includes professional experience in sales, media, food and telecom industries. She is a graduate of the 2007 Pacific Century Fellow Program and also has served on the board of directors for the Punahou Alumni Association.
Joe Kino has been promoted to office manager for Hawaii Self Storage Kapolei. He previously served as outside sales representative for the self-storage chain. In his new position, Kino will be responsible for sales, marketing and property management of the Kapolei location, as well as overseeing personnel management.
Peter Junker has been named vice president for TransPac Insurance Services. Junker’s responsibilities include developing and servicing new property and casualty insurance opportunities, as well as providing risk management consulting services for new and existing clients. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance/risk management industry in California and Hawaii.
