Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

B>Maya King has been appointed account coordinator for Abbott Communications. King is a recent graduate of Hawaii Pacific University and previously served as photo coordinator for Hana Hou! magazine.
Martha L. Camacho has been promoted to vice president and area manager fo First Hawaiian Bank’s Wahiawa branch. Camacho has more than 30 years of banking experience and most recently served as vice president and branch manager for FHB’s Kaimuki branch.
Jim McClelland has been elected to The Oceanic Institute board of trustees. A retired rear admiral in the U.S. Coast Guard, McClelland also serves as director of Future Operations for the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance for the U.S. Pacific Command.
Ali Ban has been promoted to senior vice president of retail sales for Maui Divers Jewelry. In this position, she will oversee sales at all 60 Maui Divers Jewelry concept locations as well as monitor and analyze sales activities against company goals. She first joined the company in 2002 as an assistant store manager.
Damien Navarro has been re-elected president of St. Francis Health Ambassadors-Hawaii, a community education volunteer organization formed as an affiliate of St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii. As president, Navarro will help promote community education.
Jennifer Alcantar has been appointed management executive for Hawaiiana Management Company Ltd. She most recently worked for Management Hawaii and previously was a police recruit. Alcantar brings 10 years of experience in the field of real estate and property management to the firm.
