Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Randy Tyau has been named assistant manager of Tropics Bar & Grill at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Tyau brings 27 years of food and beverage experience to the job, and most recently served as restaurant general manager of IHOP Hawaii. Prior to that, he was general manager of JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa’s Naupaka Terrace, Stuart Anderson’s Cattle Company/Black Angus and Big City Diner.
Kimiko Yamamoto has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Pemco Ltd. Yamamoto is highly experienced in all aspects of real estate management and is currently in charge of Pemco’s real estate operations in Hawaii, Guam, Mariana Islands, California and Georgia. Prior to her real estate career, she was involved in project and construction management for the firm.
Kevin Sahara has been named revenue manager at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort. His responsibilities include analyzing and implementing sales strategies to capture optimal revenue producing businesses for the resort. Sahara previously served as beach and pool manager at The Royal Hawaiian.
Vincent Robinson has been appointed assistant director of food and beverage for Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. In this new position, Robinson will assist in overseeing the resort’s 16 restaurants, bars and lounges.
Craig Kawamura has been promoted from sales associate to director of sales and marketing for Alternate Energy Inc. Kawamura is responsible for sales and marketing strategy, identifying and developing new customers for products and services, and recruiting, training and evaluation of sales staff.
