David Ching has been named risk consultant for Atlas Insurance Agency. Ching previously worked as safety administrator at Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company.
David Finnell has been appointed controller for Atlantis Adventures. He has more than 20 years of corporate experience as a controller and manager of accounting departments. He previously worked for National Commercial Flooring as an accounting manager.
Joan V. Nacino has been appointed general sales manager for Hawaii at Aloha Cargo Transport. She previously worked in customer service, sales and operations at Young Brothers Ltd.
Barbara Falvey has been named senior vice president of people services group for Hawaiian Airlines. She previously worked as corporate vice president of human resources for Ameristar Casinos in Las Vegas.
Stephan Lopaz has been promoted to tracking supervisor of the sales and marketing department for Hilo Hattie. He previously worked as the office manager for Acquisition Research.
Mari Tianne Okamoto has been named Oahu sales manager for Hilo Hattie. She previously worked as advertising assistant manager for Asian Pacific Advisors.
Wendell E. Tuisaula has been promoted to director of information technology for Turtle Bay Resort. Tuisaula joined the firm in 1996 as management information specialist manager.
Rafael Escalera has been appointed director of retail operations for Goodwill Industries. Escalera will be responsible for six retail stores and 30 donation centers.
Jennifer Deems has been named marketing manager for Goodwill Industries. She has more than 10 years of marketing and promotions experience.
Shelley B. Thompson has been named executive vice president and chief fiduciary officer of Bank of Hawaii. She previously served as executive vice president and director of wealth management at City National Bank in California.
John K. Hulihee has been promoted to vice president from assistant vice president for cash management services for Bank of Hawaii. He joined the firm in 1993 as a clerk in the consumer loans service center.
Carmen Iao has joined Bank of Hawaii Investment Services as vice president and financial consultant. She previously worked as a financial consultant and assistant vice president for American Savings Bank’s Financial Services Group.
Gina I. Nakamura has been promoted to vice president from assistant vice president of the international client banking department for Bank of Hawaii. She joined the firm in 1982 as a commercial teller.
