Nani Liu has been named sales and marketing executive for KHNL-TV and KFVE-TV. She previously worked as an account executive at Spotlight Hawaii Publishing.
Jean Ito has been named president of Soroptimist International of Waikiki for 2005-2006. She is the owner of Jiffy Lube Hawaii.
Thomas Verdi has been named contract manager for Kalu Glass Company. Verdi will oversee the project management with general contractors and supervise management personnel. Verdi previously worked as branch manager for Arcadia Hawaii.
Michael McGriff, M.D. has joined Wellness Institute International. McGriff will focus on laser skin therapies, BOTOX, Restylane, minimally invasive face lifts, micro-graft hair restoration and other specialty skin-care services and facial treatments.
Rian DuBach has been promoted from commercial banking officer to community development officer for American Savings Bank. DuBach previously worked as manager of finance and business development at the Hawaii Community Loan Fund.
Glenn Yamashita has been promoted to chief financial officer for Broadband iTV. He previously served as vice president for finance and administration. Yamashita joined the firm in 2003.
Masashi Kato has joined Peter Vincent and Associates as an architectural designer and project manager. Kato has four years of architectural experience.
Nancy Higa has joined Finance Factors as vice president and operations manager of the residential loan division. Higa has 20 years of banking and managerial experience, specifically in residential lending.
Marcus Ito has joined PacRim Marketing Group as vice president of sales and marketing. Ito previously worked at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua, Maui, where he served as the director of Asia Pacific sales and services.
