Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

D.K. Kodama has been named to the board of directors for the Hawaii Foodbank. He’s opened Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, d.k Steak House, Vino Italian Tapas and Wine Bar, and Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas.

Rene A. Castro has joined Castle & Cooke Realty as a real estate agent. He previously worked for the U.S. Army with the Operations NCO department in Mililani.

Denise M. Hayashi has been named director of community relations for NCL America. She will handle community projects.

Madeline Mililani “Lani” Olds has been named director of Hawaii land services for NCL America. She will focus on land operations on each island.

Dale Hahn has been named director of government affairs for NCL America. Hahn previously served as director of community relations.

Jon F. Yamaguchi has been designated a fellow of the London-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is the owner of Yamaguchi & Yamaguchi.

Robin Weatherwax has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Windward City Shopping Center branch of American Savings Bank.

Rey Quemado has been promoted from senior project manager to principal for Next Design. He has 24 years of experience in the industry.

Michael Okamoto has been promoted from project manager to principal for Next Design. He has more than 10 years of experience in architecture, planning and interiors.

Marc Lizama has joined Next Design as principal. He previously worked for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. He has 20 years of experience in the industry.

Chris Prendergast has been named principal broker for Centurion Realty Hawaii. Prendergast will oversee the management of residential sales, as well as commercial and residential property management.
