Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

John Nitao has been promoted to vice president from general counsel for Queen’s Health Systems. He will be responsible for legal services, corporate compliance and corporate risk management.
Francis Fraher maintains his role as vice president of finance and treasurer of Queen’s Health Systems with expanded responsibilities. He continues to serve as Molokai General Hospital treasurer.
Bert Kido, who has been serving as interim Queen’s Medical Center human resource vice president since January, was appointed Queen’s Health Services human resources vice president.
Christopher Pating has been named vice president of strategic planning and implementation for Kamehameha Schools. He previously served as a consultant for the school as an education plan project director.
Keith Sakamoto has been promoted to president of Hawaiian Host. He previously served as the firm’s executive vice president. He joined the company in 1994.
Dennis Teranishi has been promoted to vice chairman and chief executive officer for Hawaiian Host. Teranishi has served as president since 1997.
Dennis Maeda has been promoted to executive vice president for Hawaiian Host. He most recently served as senior vice president and joined the company in 1999 as vice president of operations.
